Scope
This document specifies the classification and designation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging and storage of marine bronze male thread stop-check valves (hereinafter referred to as "stop-check valves"). This document is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of stop-check valves for ship piping systems conveying seawater, fresh water, fuel oil, lubricating oil, air and steam at temperatures not higher than 250 °C.
