Scope
This document describes a method for the determination of niobium content in iron, steel and alloys by PAR spectrophotometry. This document is applicable to the determination of niobium mass fractions of 0.50 % to 6.0 % in iron, steel and alloys. This document is not applicable to the determination of niobium content in iron, steel and alloys with a tantalum content greater than 0.01 %.
