Scope
This document specifies energy-consumption grades, technical requirements, statistical scope and calculation methods for refinery production and for the production of ethylene, polypropylene, styrene monomer, p-xylene, purified terephthalic acid, propylene oxide and phthalic anhydride. It applies to the assessment of existing facilities and to energy-consumption control assessments for new or expanded projects.
