Scope
This document describes test methods for the working condition efficiency, high-speed cruising efficiency, maximum efficiency and high-efficiency operating area of drive motor systems for electric vehicles. This document is applicable to drive motor systems for electric vehicles. Vehicle motors with a generating function only and their controllers, systems including multi-speed gearboxes, powertrains consisting of multi-motor systems, and hybrid and range-extended powertrains may be tested with reference to this document.
