Scope
This document specifies the structure and service requirements, requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage of brake pads for high speed railway vehicles (hereinafter referred to as "brake pads"), and describes the test methods. This document is applicable to the design, manufacture and inspection of powder metallurgy brake pads for EMUs with an operating speed of 200 km/h to 350 km/h.
