Scope
This document describes the principle of a method for determining C6 to C8 components in natural gas and similar gas mixtures by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and specifies the reagents and materials, apparatus, samples, test procedure, data processing, precision and test report of the method. This document is applicable to the determination of the contents of 19 C6 to C8 alkane and aromatic components, such as 2,2-dimethylbutane, 3-methylpentane and n-hexane, in upstream natural gas.
