Scope

This document defines terms relating to the public safety management of explosive materials in the areas of explosive materials, basic theory of explosion, blasting operations and equipment and facilities, fireworks show operations and equipment and facilities, film and television pyrotechnic special-effect operations and equipment and facilities, destruction operations of explosive materials and equipment and facilities, and administrative management. This document is applicable to the safety management of explosive materials in stages such as purchase, transport, use, storage and destruction (excluding production and business operation), and to scientific research, teaching and the preparation of related technical documents in fields such as blasting operations, monitoring and security inspection.
