Scope
This standard is applicable to the food additive erythritol produced from glucose as the main raw material by fermentative conversion with Yarrowia lipolytica (known under two Chinese common names; formerly named Candida lipolytica), Moniliella pollinis or Trichosporonoides megachiliensis, followed by refining and other processes.
