This document describes a test method for determining the fluorine element content of the solvent-soluble matter of coating powders containing fluoroolefin-vinyl ether (ester) copolymer (FEVE) resin or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resin by oxygen bomb combustion-ion selective electrode, and a test method for determining the PVDF resin content of the solvent-soluble matter of coating powders containing polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resin by centrifugal separation. This document is applicable to the determination of the fluorine content (fluorine element or PVDF resin content) of coating powders containing fluoroolefin-vinyl ether (ester) copolymer (FEVE) resin or polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resin.
