Scope
This document describes the laser shearography test method for composite components. This document is applicable to the detection of near-surface imperfections such as disbonds, delaminations and impact damage in composite components such as composite laminates, bonded honeycomb sandwich and foam sandwich structures, filament-wound pressure vessels and bonded rubber-coated products (propellant grain inhibitor layers).
